Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services provided by MR VENTURES LTD (Company No. 16729039), trading as GradRoadmap ("we", "us", "our").

By purchasing our services, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Nature of Our Services

GradRoadmap provides digital, personalised, and consulting-based services, including application reviews, editorial support, strategic guidance, and research-based recommendations.

Because our services involve custom work tailored to your individual profile, different refund rules apply compared to physical goods.

2. Right to Cancel (Before Work Begins)

You may request a full refund if both of the following are true:

• You notify us in writing at miz@gradroadmap.com
• We have not yet started work on your application or materials

Once work has begun, refunds are handled as set out below.

3. When Work Is Considered to Have Started

For clarity, "work has started" includes any of the following:

• Review of your submitted documents (CV, drafts, questionnaires)
• Program or faculty research conducted on your behalf
• Strategic analysis of your profile or applications
• Drafting, editing, or providing written feedback
• Sending a tailored questionnaire or personalised recommendations

Once any of the above has occurred, the service is considered to have commenced.

4. No Refunds After Service Commencement

Due to the personalised nature of our services:

• No refunds are available once work has begun
• This applies even if you choose not to continue, do not submit materials, or do not use the service fully
• This also applies regardless of application outcomes

This policy is consistent with UK consumer law for digital and bespoke services.

5. Cooling-Off Period (UK Consumer Law)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you may have a 14-day cooling-off period for digital services.

However, by purchasing and engaging with GradRoadmap services, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You request immediate performance of the service
• You understand that your right to cancel ends once the service has begun

This consent is given at the point of purchase.

6. No Guarantees of Outcomes

Refunds are not provided based on:

• University admission decisions
• Interview outcomes
• Funding or scholarship results
• Perceived chances of success

Admissions decisions are made solely by universities and are outside our control.

7. Exceptional Circumstances

At our discretion, we may consider partial or discretionary refunds in exceptional circumstances (e.g. serious illness), but this is not guaranteed and is assessed case by case.

Any such decision does not set a precedent.

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you have any concerns about your purchase, please contact us first at miz@gradroadmap.com.

Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of services and the provision of evidence to the payment processor.
